Julie Nowak, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a native of Cheektowaga, NY. After graduating high school in 1986 from Cheektowaga Central, Julie pursued a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Erie 1 B.O.C.E.S in Lancaster, New York. Upon graduating in 1993, she continued her education. From 1996-1998 she obtained her Bachelors of Science, Nursing from D’Youville College, Buffalo, New York. It was in 2006 that Julie completed her Master’s of Science, Nursing at State University Of New York Of Buffalo, in Buffalo, New York. Julie has been a long-term employee at Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo, New York since 1990. She worked her way up from a Certified Nursing Assistant to a RN, Staff nurse. Currently, Julie also continues to work in the Intensive Care Unit and Sisters Of Charity Hospital. Since 2006, Julie has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the newly renamed Luthra Medical Associates, formerly known as Hurley Medical Center located at 2075 Kensington Avenue in Snyder, NY. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Julie uses her years of nursing experience to provide a full- range of care to adult patients from economically and culturally diverse populations.
